this painting came about as a starter for getting some paint squeezed out and to start the process of playtime!!…..it was inspired by one of my fave glass bowls from a couple of years ago….which you can see in the next image….as you can see, glass and paint are quite different…..the glass is glossy and finely finished….and perhaps i could do that with paint, however, i don’t want to even try!!!!

i feel endlessly grateful to have the choice to decide which medium to play in….depending on how i feel that day….(or sometimes depending on what opportunities i have for my creative offerings!) either way, i love it!!!!
p.s. oh yah, the painting is upside down…i didn’t paint it that way, but that’s the direction i liked best when it was done!!! with a bowl, every way is right side up!!
p.p.s. i’m in good company too, marc chagall was a painter and glass crafter as well!! not that i think i’m in his league or anything…just saying, there is a history of this….!!!! ha ha
